This Multicoloured handmade Turkish trivet is a unique piece that can be used as a teapot stand and decorative item.
This collection is very tradition in patterns and design inspired by 16th century pottery artworks and Ottoman tiles. It commonly comes with floral designs such as carnations and tulips as well as pomegranate tree and tree of life. Traditional patterns are mostly designed on a coloured background but sometimes seen in blue as well. Basically, flowers have always had an important part in Turkish life and culture especially Tulip and Carnation as well as Roses, Hyacinth and Magnolia. That is the reason that flowers exist in many Turkish arts and folklore.
